Matty wastes his lonely days away in his quiet Manhattan apartment, convincing himself that he’s doing far more than he actually is. After being left with the means to sufficiently fund his lifestyle by his late parents, Matty focuses entirely on his night-time performances at his local jazz club. Envious of his successful, charismatic bandmate Henry, Matty spirals into a pit of self-doubt, paranoia, and dark fantasies. As his obsession with validation grows, his jealousy of Henry threatens to consume him, blurring the line between reality and destructive daydreams. The film explores themes of artistic obsession, identity, and the pressure to achieve “greatness” in a highly competitive industry. The film is anticipating a Spring 2025 release.
